Developing the Whole Individual
Arts and Sciences majors at USA learn to combine disciplinary knowledge with invention,
teamwork, and creativity in order to discover new answers and solutions. Whether in
physics or philosophy, anthropology or visual arts, all fields in Arts and Sciences
involve studying those aspects of our world that address complex, open-ended problems
and challenges. As a result, earning an Arts and Sciences degree is a rich experience
that develops the whole individual.
South Alumni Are Calling the Shots
This weekend the University of South Alabama Jaguars take to the field at Hancock Whitney stadium to face off against Morgan State. This marks the start of the 12th season of the Jags Radio Network, the crew responsible for broadcasting, calling the plays and providing commentary for Jaguar football. And, for the first time, each member is a South Alabama alumni – who also has ties to 97.1 The Prowl, South’s student-run radio station.
