THE USA MUSICAL ARTS CONCERT SERIES

Serving the university community and the entire region through profound artistic and academic achievement, the Department of Music Musical Arts Concert Series features faculty recitals and exceptional student ensemble performances. Since 2001, our regular Musical Arts Series attendees have been treated to an average of 30-40 concerts per academic year.

Scheduled in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center 240-seat Recital Hall, concerts generally begin at 7:30 p.m. for evening weekday performances and at 3:00 p.m. for a majority of Sunday events. Tickets for admission to all MAS concerts and other ticketed events are sold at the door only (except where indicated). Tickets are $8 each for general admission and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens. We accept cash or card for purchases.

Questions regarding special accommodation, live streaming, and other considerations should be directed to the Events Coordinator at (251) 460-7116 or Music Department Staff at (251) 460-6136. Questions also may be emailed - kbohnet@southalabama.edu.

SEASON PASSES and the USA MUSICAL ARTS SOCIETY

Show your support for the University of South Alabama music program by purchasing a Musical Arts Series Season Pass and by joining the department's Musical Arts Society. Subscribers may obtain an Individual Season Pass or a Family Season Pass, allowing the freedom to attend nearly all of our ticketed faculty recitals and student ensemble concerts. Season Passes are offered at discounted rates.

Purchasing a "MAS Pass" is relatively simple. You can download the Season Pass Purchase Form, print it, fill it out and send it back to us. You may also contact our events coordinator at (251) 460-7116 or via email at kbohnet@southalabama.edu, being certain to provide a mailing address and a phone number. We'll send the form for you to fill out along with purchasing directions. Once we send you your MAS Pass card, you will be set for the entire season.

ADDITIONAL TICKETED CONCERTS

Don't forget! Musical Arts Series pass holders may use their passes for admission to all Music Department ticketed concerts (except our Spring Opera). We add concerts to our schedule all the time, and your MAS Pass will gain you entry. Check all season long for concert additions and updates on the Department of Music website  - southalabama.edu/music - and we'll also send reminders for concerts via email.
